About the role: 

This is a management role focused on supporting daily room operations, aiming to deliver an optimal guest experience, ensure compliance with standards, and plan efficiently based on the property's needs. 


What you will do:

  • Support daily operations of the Front Desk and Guest Services teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. 
  • Supervise and mentor staff (receptionists, bellhops, doormen, concierge) to uphold service standards and foster a positive work environment. 
  • Ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure, addressing special requests, VIP needs, and service recovery situations. 
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. 
  • Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, reservations, security) to anticipate and meet guest needs. 
  • Monitor team performance through regular coaching, performance reviews, and compliance with brand standards (e.g. Forbes, LQA). 
  • Oversee training programs to maintain high levels of service, product knowledge, and brand consistency. 
  • Ensure proper use of systems and procedures, including PMS, guest profiles, and billing processes. 
  • Assist in managing schedules, payroll, and staffing needs based on business levels. 
  • Promote a culture of service excellence, leading by example and encouraging a guest-first mindset across the team. 

Requirements

What you bring: 

  • 1–2 years of experience in a luxury hotel in an operational supervisory role 
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of major front office PMS systems are essential 
  • Clear management, supervisory, and leadership skills 
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and French, both orally and in writing; An advanced level of English is required to ensure oral and written communication with business partners, stakeholders, suppliers, and a predominantly international clientele. 
  • Ability to work in motion, spend long periods standing, and lift, pull, or push loads of up to 25 kg 
  • Available to work any shift, including morning, afternoon, evening and overnight;
