<p>Join RIMAP Hospitality, a dynamic and growing company in the hotel management sector in Montreal, as an Accounting Technician. <p>As a member of our team, you will work closely with hotel managers, department heads, and the regional office to ensure the proper follow-up of daily accounting operations and the accurate transmission of financial information.</p>
<h2>What You Will Do</h2>
<p>Reporting to the General Manager, your main responsibilities will include:</p>
<h2>Manage daily accounting operations</h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Manage the hours worked by management and unionized employees.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Reconcile banquet events with the corresponding contracts.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Review and correct daily revenues.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Record and reconcile daily deposits, including credit card transactions.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Prepare and submit the required documents to the regional office within the established deadlines.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2>Manage accounts payable</h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Receive, verify, match, code, and record invoices.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Perform the necessary follow-ups in Sage 300 and Adaco.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Follow up on requests from guests, suppliers, department heads, and the regional office.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Collaborate with the regional office during the monthly closing process.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2>Contribute to internal controls</h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Actively participate in the application of internal policies and procedures.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Participate in monthly and annual inventory counts.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure the accuracy and compliance of accounting information.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Contribute to the improvement of processes and work tools.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Participate in the Manager on Duty program.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Perform any other related duties requested by management or the regional office.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2>What You Bring</h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Functional bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>A college diploma in accounting, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>A strong aptitude for accounting and administrative operations.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple files simultaneously.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience with accounting software or hotel information systems.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience as a hotel day or night auditor is an asset.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience as an accounting clerk or accounting technician is an asset.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience with Sage 300 or Adaco is an asset.</p>
</li>
<li>
