POSITION TITLE: Sales Manager

DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing

LOCATION: Ottawa, ON

SCHEDULE: Full-time

POSITION TYPE: Salaried, onsite

REPORTS TO: General Manager/Regional Director of Sales & Marketing

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Moxy Hotel is where hospitality meets energy, creativity, and fun. We bring a playful, vibrant spirit to every stay and believe sales is more than just numbers-it’s about creating amazing experiences and connections.

WHO YOU ARE:

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in hospitality or sales & marketing, or a degree in Hotel, Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration
  • OR a related field with 2+ years in hotel sales/marketing

Preferred Extras:

  • A sales pro with proven success driving revenue and building client relationships.
  • Experience with major brands (Marriott, Hilton, Accor, IHG, Hyatt) is a major plus
  • Confident communicator, pro collaborator, and natural motivator.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Bilingual (English/French) an asset
  • Pre-opening and grand opening skills are highly valued – let’s make some noise
  • Experience with sales management systems (Delphi, MRDW, One Yield, MS Office Suite)

Exigences

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Lead with Energy:

  • Drive hotel revenue growth across Rooms, Banquets and Catering
  • Knock targets out of the park

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate strong personal connections with clients, partners, and the community
  • Show up and make an impact in meetings, events, and in the lobby

Create Smart Strategies:

  • Identify new market opportunities and develop action plans with creativity
  • Analyze market trends and adjust tactics to stay ahead
  • Collaborate with the Revenue team to optimize pricing and inventory

Own the Process:

  • Manage sales activities, budgets, and reporting with precision
  • Keep communications open and teams aligned
  • Collaborate with operations, accounting, and other departments to rock hotel performance
  • Familiar with Marriott Brand GSS, BSA and GXP
  • Follow company standards, policies and procedures
