YOUR MISSION : BRINGING THE ORGANIZATION TO LIFE… IN THE KITCHEN!

As a sous chef, you are the backbone of the organization and the guarantor of quality in the kitchen.

Your expertise is reflected in every dish: from preparation to presentation, you ensure freshness, taste, and customer satisfaction. You also participate in purchasing and inventory management, while ensuring compliance with the highest standards of hygiene, health, and safety.

Thanks to your leadership and organizational skills, you help promote the restaurant… one plate at a time!

YOUR MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Under the supervision of the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef is responsible for:
Structured monitoring of the kitchen team’s tasks;
Preparing, cooking, and seasoning dishes using the appropriate techniques and serving them;
Monitor the quality and preservation of prepared dishes;
Ensure customer satisfaction;
Collaborate in the sound management of purchases and orders;
Participate in inventory management and monitoring;
Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety procedures;
Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements

DESIRED PROFILE & REQUIRED SKILLS

• Recognized diploma in culinary arts (minimum DEP, DEC an asset);
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a kitchen;
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a position of responsibility;
• Positive and motivating attitude;
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and autonomy;
• Ability to adapt.
• French and English (an asset).
