We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team and elevate our guests' dining experience with a curated wine selection.

Job Description: As a Sommelier at Dorsia, you will work closely with our group sommelier to manage our wine program, from curating the wine list to providing exceptional wine service to our guests. Your expertise in wine will enhance our guests' culinary journey, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the group sommelier to curate and maintain an extensive and diverse wine list that complements our menu.
  • Provide exceptional wine service and recommendations to guests, enhancing their dining experience.
  • Conduct wine tastings and training sessions for staff to ensure a high level of wine knowledge and service.
  • Manage wine inventory, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of wines.
  • Stay updated with wine trends and industry developments to continuously improve our wine program.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious wine and food pairings.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding wine service and storage.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of wines, regions, and varietals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Certified Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Passion for wine and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
