POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Clair Matin residence, by Cogir Immobilier, is looking for a colleague to join its dedicated team as a server in the dining room.
Permanent part-time position. Evening and weekend hours, between 15 and 20 hours per week (possibility of having more hours in case of replacement).

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
• Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
• Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
• In cooperation with the kitchen staff, prepare daily and à la carte menus and answer residents' questions regarding meals and preparation
• Perform other related duties
• Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Flexibility for the work schedule
• knowledge of a Maitre D's responsibilities (an asset)
• Customer service experience an asset
• 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
