The Auberge des Appalaches in Sutton, 2 minutes from Mont Sutton ski resort, is looking for a qualified cook assistant  to work with the Chef owner: John Kostuik.


The Auberge is a small family run business with 10 bedrooms and a gastronomic restaurant. 

The owners arrived directly from Europe to settle in the Eastern Townships. Chef John Kostuik is little known in Quebec but has an exceptional reputation in Europe, mainly Ireland, where he was nominated Best Chef of the Year.


Member of the "Chefs Créateurs" of the Eastern Townships since the beginning of the banner, our kitchen is bistro style with French trend. We use different cooking techniques, including "sous vide". Our philosophy is simple: seasonal and local products to the maximum. The Inn has its own vegetable garden, fine herbs / edible flowers in season.

Our cuisine knows how to combine flavors to perfection.

Salary to be determined according to the candidate's abilities and aptitudes 


The candidate must have experience of several years. Degrees are not necessarily required if the skills and abilities are adequate.

He / she must have a good knowledge and practice of the kitchen trades.

He / she will assist the Chef with the reception and the controls of the supplies, preparation, service and cleaning in compliance with the standards of hygiene in force.

The candidate must be methodical, disciplined, good manager, able to manage stress and have a high sense of hygiene standards.

He/she will be able to listen ti his supervior and follow the instructions requested.
