Job description

The KEJJA Hotel Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Hotel Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving new business for our hotels through proactive sales efforts, with a primary focus on cold calling and innovative business research methods. As a Hotel Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the overall success and growth of our hotels.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Cold Calling and Prospecting: Initiate and conduct cold calls to potential clients in target markets. Identify key decision-makers and influencers within prospective organizations. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our hotel and its services.

  2. Business Research: Utilize various methods to research and identify potential business opportunities. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Gather and analyze data to identify new markets and customer needs.

  3. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations. Network and participate in industry events to expand the hotel's reach and visibility. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless client experiences.

  4. Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients. Create customized proposals that address the unique needs of potential clients. Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

  5. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.

  • Strong cold calling and prospecting skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Familiarity with hotel operations and services is a plus.

Requirements

Requirements :

  • Education: 
    High school diploma required.
    Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is an asset.
  • Language Proficiency:
    Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken).
    Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.
  • Sales Experience: 
    Minimum of 3 years of proven success in sales.
    Experience in B2B or B2C sales is preferred.

  • Communication Skills:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    Ability to present and explain product/service features to potential customers.

  • Negotiation Skills:
    Proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
    Comfortable navigating and finalizing contracts.

  • Legal Authorization to Work:
    Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada.
