Job description

Under the supervision of the Operations Director, the Sales Coordinator coordinates sales-related activities to meet customer needs and expectations and ensures the efficiency and optimal profitability of this department. He is responsible for coordinating the provision of meeting room services.


Planning :
• Participate in management committee meetings;
• Work in coordination with the other services of the establishment;
• Transmit the information necessary for the completion of the contracts for which he is responsible to the departments concerned;
• Participate in the development of procedures related to meeting rooms and the reception of groups.

Customer service :
• Welcome customers to their meeting room, review with them the progress of the day and provide technical support;
• Ensure customer satisfaction during and after the event.

Sale :
• Promote and sell hotel services;
• Evaluate and establish rates, guarantees and contract terms, according to company policies;
• Collaborate with the channel's revenue director to establish group rates.
• Prepare contracts;
• Submit orders to service providers (e.g. caterer) and make the necessary arrangements to satisfy customer requests;
• Ensure customer satisfaction during and after service delivery and handle complaints, if applicable;
• Maintain client files.

Accounting :
• Prepare and send to clients invoicing relating to group reservations and meeting room rentals.

Reception :
• Perform the functions of the reception attendant position during the reception attendant's breaks and lunch period, according to the schedule determined by the reception supervisor.


• Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in a reception attendant position an asset.
• Fluency in French and English, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required.
• Knowledge of Choice Advantage and Pxier software an asset

Full-time work, generally daytime, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Work that can be done under pressure. Position occasionally requiring work evenings, weekends or holidays.

Compensation varies based on prior work experience, education and training.

The position offered is of indefinite duration, replacing leave.
