We are seeking a skilled and driven Revenue Manager to also lead our Reservations Department.
Position
Summary:
The Revenue Manager & Reservations Manager will play a pivotal role in
maximizing the hotel’s revenue through strategic pricing, yield management,
effective inventory management, and reservations strategies. This role requires
a blend of analytical expertise and leadership skills to oversee both revenue
optimization and the efficiency of the reservations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Management:
- Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies to maximize room revenue and market share.
- Conduct market analysis and monitor competitor rates and demand patterns to refine pricing and distribution strategies.
- Manage customer segmentation and develop targeted pricing for each segment.
- Prepare and present detailed revenue forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to executive management.
- Inventory & Channel Management:
- Manage room inventory and pricing across all distribution channels, including OTA, GDS, and direct booking platforms.
- Ensure optimal visibility and pricing on all online travel agencies and booking platforms to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Reservations Department Management:
- Lead and manage the Reservations Department, ensuring high standards of customer service and efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and develop the reservations team to enhance their performance and customer handling skills to maximise captured reservations.
- Implement processes to improve reservation accuracy, overbooking, and manage group bookings effectively.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Front Office teams to align revenue strategies with promotional activities and guest services.
- Analysis of group pricing proposed by the sales team and approves pricing.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales and to the reservations team on revenue management principles and best practices.
- System & Process Management:
- Maintain and optimize revenue management systems and tools, including integration with property management systems (PMS) and central reservations systems (CRS)
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into revenue and reservations systems to support operational efficiency.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in revenue management and/or reservations management within the hospitality industry.
- Preferred Collegial or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, economics, or a related field.
- Preferred proficiency in TravelClick channel management and Opera PMS.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- French is required, bilingual in English and French is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
