Acquired in 2018 by Tidan, this hotel is located in the heart of the Montreal metropolis. The Marriott Château Champlain is a 1-minute walk from the metro, accessible via an underground walkway adjacent to the Bell Centre. This iconic Montreal hotel was completely renovated in 2021, with 36 floors, 614 rooms, 13 suites, 25 meeting rooms and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Management, the Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the reservations department and will play a key role within the hotel management team. Interacting directly with customers and employees, he/she will be expected to demonstrate professionalism and a strong commitment to customer service, contributing to the overall success of the hotel. Given the evolving nature of this sector, job responsibilities will evolve accordingly.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage the reservations department, including but not limited to, planning, training, support and performance.
- Demonstrate as a leader, prompt, quality and efficient service, to our internal and external customers; group or individual
- Optimize operational and tactical procedures
- Manage all requests from the convention service team regarding group needs
- Create and manage blocks and packages
- Assist the Revenue Manager with all related tasks

Skills required:
- At least 5 years' experience in the hotel industry in a similar position
- Must be able to work in a team
- Proficiency in office software
- Analytical mind
- Knowledge of e-commerce and social media
- Knowledge of software used by Marriott (MARSHA, Empower, FSPMS, HPP, One Yield), an asset
Other qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Passion for revenue management and results orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment while managing time optimally.
- Adaptability, creativity, and decision-making and problem-solving skills, with strong
- integrity and willingness to learn.
Languages: Bilingualism (French-English) is required for this position, as we serve an international clients.
