Essential functions of the job:

  • Act as manager when the director is absent;

  • Manage in collaboration with the Director, reception staff, reservations, concierges and valets;

  • Establish and coordinate with the director the implementation of the new procedures and ensure that they are respected by the employees of the department;

  • Work in collaboration with other departments of the institution;

  • Have a presence at the reception;

  • Follow up on employees;

  • Meet the customers;

  • Act as a coach with the reception team;

  • Transmit messages from management to employees;

  • Help with  new projects;

  • Ensure that the customer service complies, at all times, with the norms and standards of the establishment and the Antonopoulos Group;

  • Perform periodic inspection rounds;

  • Any other tasks deemed essential in the job.


Qualifications and competencies required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a supervisor at the front desk of a hotel in the same category;

  • Good knowledge of the OPERA Software;

  • Team management skills;

  • Passion for customer service;

  • Positive and proactive attitude;

  • Flexibility and availability to work with varied schedules of day and evening;

  • Great sense of responsibility and attention to detail;

  • Essential bilingualism, trilingual (an asset);

  • Diploma in hotel management (an asset).
