Job description

Our Cooks are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. The Cook is responsible for the preparation of high-quality food in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner. In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen.
  • Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Company.
  • Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
  • Restocks all items as needed throughout shift.
  • Serve food in the proper portion size and at the proper temperature.
  • Execute daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedule.

Requirements

Qualifications:

This role may be a perfect fit for you if:

  • For licensed venues, candidates must be the required age of majority or older
  • You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • You have a minimum of 1 year of cooking experience
  • You have a professional diploma or food services management (preferred)
  • You have demonstrated knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • You have knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling
  • You have superior time management and multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
  • You can lift up to 50lbs
