Manoir Hovey, a 5 star Relais & Châteaux lakeside hotel, is looking for a pool attendant to join our team next spring.
Under the direction of his/her immediate superior, the pool attendant, must supervise the swimmers in order to prevent accidents. As a bar attendant, he/she will take drink orders and serves them to the pool guests.
- - Supervise swimmers at the pool to prevent accidents
- - Make sure pool guidelines are being respected
- - Assist clients in difficulty and providing first aid in the event of an accident
- - Arrange and store the equipment for the operation of the swimming pool and nautical activities
- - Ensures that certain aspects of the filtration system are working properly and performs the necessary tasks
- - Take customers' drink and food orders
- - Prepare and serve these drinks
- - Prepare invoices
Requirements
- - National Lifeguard Certificate (pool)
- - Boat driver licence, an asset
- - Knowledge of nautical activities (canoes, kayaks...) is an asset
- - Good physical condition
- Self-control, vigilance, caution
- - Teamwork and customer service skills
