Reporting to the Reservation Supervisor, the successful candidate is responsible for creating a positive and warm impression from the first contact. He sees to the management of the calls as well as the taking of reservation for the lodging and the restoration. Through active listening, he contributes to increasing customer satisfaction and achieving sales objectives.


Essential functions of the job:

•         Take phone calls and forward them to the departments according to the client's needs;

•         Make reservations, open client files and respond to various inquiries by phone and email;

•         Make reservations for the catering service;

•         Inform the guests and promote the services of the establishment by proposing the different packages available;

•         Confirm, modify and cancel reservations by following policies and procedures;

•         Make the link with the various departments of the hotel to ensure that each stay is a memorable and positive experience for our guests;

•         Enter in the system all relevant information about the stay;

•         Work with the entire hospitality team to identify and exceed guest expectations;

•         Support the reception team;

•         Use discretion and ensure the confidentiality of the guests;



•         Familiarity with reception procedures and telephone protocol;

•         Relevant experience in customer service and / or reception at a hotel;

•         Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing in English and French;

•         Ability to effectively manage priorities and time and ability to handle multiple tasks at once;

•         Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment;

•         Knowledge of hotel software (Opera an asset);

•         Knowledge of Open Table software (asset);

•         Knowledge of the MS Office suite;

•         Hotel training an asset;

•         Availability in the evenings, weekends and holidays;

•         neat presentation;
