The Manager works in conjunction with the General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the restaurant. Focusing on staff training, generation of top line revenue and management of labour and cost of goods,

What You’ll Do 

  • Supporting the daily restaurant operations.
  • Design operation strategy and set goals for growth.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and enforce established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
  • Establish and enforce operation strategies to meet quality and customer service standards
  • Maintain all F&B division facilities are clean and safe.
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
  • Direct the employee assessment process.
  • Prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
  • Assist with inventory management and product ordering
  • Build and maintain a positive working culture and engaged team.
  • Strict adherence to health and safety procedures and Talent procedures as per company and property policy.
  • Organize and lead regular meetings to discuss about issues and updates, ensuring team alignment.
  • Coordinate corporate events.
Requirements
  • What You’ll Need  


  • Minimum 3 years' experience in restaurant management.
  • Excellent communication skills, (English and French)
  • Flexible working schedule; ability to work long hours.
  • Knowledge of the MaitreD POS systems, Open Table reservation software, Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
