<h2>Maintenance Technician</h2>
<p>Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Maintenance Technician performs repairs and preventive maintenance on hotel facilities, ensuring a functional, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.</p>
<h2>Main Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Perform general plumbing tasks (sink, toilet, bathtub, and shower repairs).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain hotel installations, furniture, and equipment.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Repair and maintain heating and ventilation systems.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Contribute to renovation projects and upgrades.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks in guest rooms and public areas.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Apply skills in carpentry, painting, plastering, plumbing, heating, laundry machines, ventilation, electricity, and thermal systems.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements and Qualifications</h2>
<ul>

<p>Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in hospitality.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Excellent physical condition (able to lift 50-75 lbs).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Functional bilingual French/English to communicate with international guests.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to manage priorities in a high-volume environment.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Availability for varied shifts: days, evenings, and weekends.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Customer service skills and experience.</p>
</li>
</ul>
