Location: Regional HR Offices, located at the Montreal Marriott Château Champlain, 1050 Rue de la Gauchetière Ouest, Montreal, QC. H3B 4C9
Status: Full-time
Salary: $60,000 per year
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing essential operational support to the company's human resources management activities. He or she works closely with the HR team to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, programs and initiatives. This person plays an essential role in the smooth running of HR operations within the company. Responsibilities:
- Be in charge of human resources for a portfolio of hotels and real estate properties within the Tidan Group properties by being the HR representative for these properties for all matters relating to the human resources of employees and managers, including disciplinary management and investigations.
- Train managers on various HR procedures.
- Manage administrative processes related to employee hiring, on-boarding and off-boarding, including contract preparation, document collection, file management, etc.
- Ensure compliance of HR policies and procedures with applicable laws, regulations and standards.
- Support the recruitment process in the absence of the recruitment coordinator by drafting job advertisements, distributing offers on the appropriate platforms and sorting applications.
- Ensure accurate and organized management of employee files, including contracts, appraisal forms, personal data, etc.
- Prepare periodic HR reports for data analysis and monitoring of key performance indicators, including seniority lists required in collective agreements.
- Supporting the Human Resources Manager in meetings with the unions of the properties in her portfolio.

Answer employees' questions on internal policies and procedures.
Participate in updating the intranet site. - Participate in the organization of activities and social events within the company.
- Facilitate internal communication by relaying important information to employees and coordinating employee recognition activities.
- Contribute to the resolution of problems and conflicts between employees, in collaboration with HR managers.
Requirements:
- University degree in human resources management, business administration or related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience).

Having the CHRP designation or being in the process of obtaining it is an advantage.
Previous experience in a human resources coordination/administration role is preferred, particularly in a unionized multi-company environment, and/or in the hospitality industry. - Bilingual French/English (spoken and written) as we serve properties in Quebec, English-speaking Canadian provinces, and the United States.
- Good knowledge of Quebec human resources laws, regulations and practices. Additional knowledge of human resources laws, regulations and practices in Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Florida, Arizona and California is a plus.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional manner. -
Clear communication skills and ability to interact with different levels of the organization.
Proficiency in common IT tools, such as human resources management software and the Microsoft Office suite. - A valid driver's license is a plus for travel to our properties outside Montreal.
