Description

 

-      Bring to life the concept of Restaurant h3by putting everything in motion to provide guests with a quality experience that goes beyond their expectations

-      Complete knowledge of the menu, origin of products, components of the dishes, garnishes, portion sizes and be able to describe the items properly and efficiently to the guest

-      Usage, without compromise, of the employee manual guidelines in order to respect the culture and standards of the establishment

-      Understand H3’s concept as well as the other entities affiliated with Cogir Restaurant

-      Mise en place of the restaurant, proper stocking of working stations

-      Greet guests with a smile and eye contact

-      Describe the menu and guide the guest in his choices

-       Take the guest’s order

-      Advise, upon request, on the guest’s choice for cocktails and wine

-      Ensure smooth running of service, coordinate the service of food and drinks with colleagues

-       Be a team player

-      Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure satisfaction after each service step

-      Ensure guest’s bill is complete and presented promptly when requested

-       Cash in payments

-      Keep entrance and traffic areas clean and organized, see to the maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant environment. 

-      Promote a healthy, clean and safe environment for the guest as well as your colleagues

-      Accomplish all related tasks requested by management

Requirements
  • Professional attitude and behavior (aptitude for teamwork, autonomy, dynamic, interpersonal skills, honesty, versatility, sense of initiative, sense or organization, etc.)
  • Fluent in French and English, fluency in other languages is an asset
  • Leadership and decision-making capacity
  • Speed of execution
  • Stress tolerance
  • Search for practical and theoretical improvement
  • Open-minded
  • Knowledge of Maître’D POS
  • Training of MAPAQ in hygiene and food safety (food handler) is an asset
  • 3 years experience as a waiter
  • Sommellerie certification or equivalent
  • Training course in restaurant service
  • Knowledge of gastronomy, sommellerie and mixology
  • Thirst for learning and curiosity
