Status: Full Time
Salary: Starting at 62 000$ per year plus bonus

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sales Manager fully develops the market segment of individual, corporate, and association groups, with a focus on production, particularly for short-term, top-rated, and less price-sensitive activities, while concentrating on soliciting new profitable business. The goal is to maximize potential hotel revenue by promoting rooms and banquet/meeting spaces while ensuring the best possible meeting experience for the client.
To achieve monthly room night targets, the Sales Manager will develop and implement sales action plans, maintain positive interdepartmental communication, and complete special projects assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Job Description:
- Achieve monthly room night targets and manage group blocks
- Follow reservation procedures
- Participate in business trips targeting specific regions of the group market
- Solicit accounts in the assigned market segment
- Prospect and develop new accounts in line with the hotel's mission
- Weekly solicitation through calls and inspection visits with appropriate follow-up
- Use all possible prospecting sources according to the Sales action plan
- Follow up on leads from other potential sources
- Actively participate in professional associations and trade shows
- Achieve planned objectives for room nights, rates, and revenue as per the budget
- Participate in the development of direct mail and all promotions related to the SMERF market segment's needs
- Maintain a positive attitude and embrace change
Skills:
- Proficiency with social media platforms
- Familiarity with Hotello reservation software
