Responsibilities:

  • Generate inquiries and promote properties;
  • Negotiate complex proposals including rooms, meeting spaces, and food and beverage offerings;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients;
  • Conduct inspection visits, organize client events, and familiarization trips;
  • Visit clients, participate in industry events and networking;
  • Develop and execute a sales plan for assigned markets;
  • Achieve (and exceed!) revenue goals for designated markets;
  • Attend sales meetings and prepare sales reports;
  • Establish good working relationships with other departments;
  • Work with operational teams for a smooth transition from booking to event;
  • Update the database with activities, notes, and contacts.

Requirements

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Sales experience in the Montreal market and in the luxury hotel sales;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Performance-oriented mindset;
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment;
  • Adaptable and comfortable with priority management;
  • Bilingual in French/English due to frequent communication with international clientele;
  • Good computer knowledge and proficiency with systems;
  • Degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred but not required.
