Job description

We are looking for the best candidates to fill this position. You will occupy a key position, since customer service is our priority.

Job summary:

Under the authority of the Front Desk Supervisor, the Front Desk Agent reserves rooms, provides information and services to guests, checks in and checks out guests and collects payments.

Responsibilities:
Reservation
  • Specify the client's needs and open his file.
  • Confirm, modify or cancel a reservation.
Arrival and departure of customers
  • Welcome customers upon arrival and verify reservation data.
  • Obtain payment guarantees.
  • Assign rooms, hand over keys and provide the client with useful information about the establishment.
  • Check the satisfaction of customers who leave.
  • Finalize the note, have the accommodation costs approved, collect the payment and give a copy of the transaction to the client.
  • Offer to make other reservations.
Customer service
  • Promote the establishment's services, tourist attractions and various activities in the region and make reservations as needed.
  • Receive mail or messages and ensure their distribution.
  • Ensure the safety of customers and their property.
  • Respond to customer requests.
  • Handle and follow up on customer comments and complaints.
Administrative follow
  • Check daily registers, customer accounts, cash statements and supporting documents.
  • Produce and verify daily reports.
  • Ensure coordination with the various departments of the hotel.
All other related tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingualism (English/French).
  • Be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Ability to work physically (standing all day).
  • Ability to work with diverse work teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Have a good sense of organization.
  • Available to work weekends.

Salary and benefit:
  • Salary of $20.45/hour

Schedule:
  • Day shift: Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Evening shift: 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Night shift: 7/7, 7 nights on, 7 nights off, 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Wednesday to Wednesday
