Reporting to the Front Desk Supervisors, the Front Desk Agent takes room reservations, greets guests upon arrival and during their stay, provides information about the hotel and its services as well as tourist attractions, and receives guest payments.
Requirements
Job Description:
Provide exceptional customer service at all times and maintain courteous behavior with guests and co-workers.
Follows hotel policies, procedures and standards.
Respond to telephone, and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.
Utilize sales techniques to sell rooms, increase occupancy and revenue.
Assist in resolving guest related issues.
Ensure proper follow-up of guest requests.
Performs activities related to individual reservations.
Perform group booking activities.
Process customer correspondence accurately.
Process payments and settle invoices for hotel guests.
React logically and independently in exceptional situations.
Perform front desk operational duties.

Additional Information:
Be available for day, evening, night shifts during the week, weekends and holidays.
40 hours per week schedule.
Must have 6 months experience as a Front Desk Agent.

D.E.S. (High School Diploma) - Asset

For our unionized positions, the salary offered is based on the current collective agreement. For other positions, the salary is based on experience. In addition, it comes with benefits and preferential rates in all hotels owned by the Tidan Group.
