Front Desk Agent
Provide an excellent service to our guests.
Handle efficient and pleasant check-in and check-out.
Provide information of the City and be knowledgeable about Montreal and what it has to offer.
Handle guest concerns and/or complaints in a positive and professional manner.
Maintain high level of customer service through all guest contact.
Ensure accurate audit reports.
Follow procedures and policies established by the Hotel.
Handle and balance cash and credit cards.
Hands on approach with day to day operational duties and projects.
OnQ knowledge an asset.
Operate switchboard and answer reservation calls.
Create reservations received by fax from varied websites and by phone.
Must communicate effectively (written & verbal) in English and French.
Must provide excellent customer service.
Must be detailed oriented and organized.
Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast pace environment.
Strong decision making/problem solving skills.
Must have excellent interpersonal communication and guest service skills.
Must be flexible regarding working weekends, mornings, evenings and holidays.
Must possess excellent computer skills and an ability to work under pressure at times.
Must possess excellent customer service skills: friendly, welcoming and professional at all times.
Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent strongly preferred.
Diploma or certificate in Travel & Tourism or Hotel & Restaurant Management or the equivalent is strongly preferred.
