Description

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for carrying out the agency's mission, activities and day-to-day operations.

Primary responsibilities are general management, human resources, communication and collaboration with local partners involved in travel and trade.

The Director also ensures sound management of finances, administration, development, and implementation of all projects as per the objectives and priorities of the organization.


WORKPLACE LOCATION

Remote work and/or at the agency office in Ouje-Bougoumou, QC

DURATION

Full-time, Monday-Friday, on-call or weekends if needed

Requirements
  • Action- and result-oriented, analytical and critical-thinking skills, decision-making ability and sound judgment;

  • Skilled and interested in diversification of sources of financing, financial arrangements and with a participation in various regional tourism projects;

  • Fluency and writing skills in French and English, knowledge of Cree is a great asset;

  • Ease with online technologies and strong computer skills;
