Overview

Reporting to the Event Setup Manager, The Event Setup Crew is responsible for taking part of the entire operations of the rental experience including but not limited to warehouse duties and having the ability to set up any piece of inventory within our collection.
We are looking for someone who has a solution oriented get the job done attitude with a commitment to constantly improve.


Responsibilities

  • Set-up and strike of each project as outlined on the event orders provided by the Sales & Coordination team
  • Working on-site at venue to setup inventory prior to the event start
  • Working on-site at venue to take down all inventory after the event is concluded.
  • Assist in setting-up the stage for performances and curtaining for décor

  • Fasten parts together using bolting and riveting equipment or other fastening and joining devices and perform minor adjustments as required

  • Remove and stack chairs and benches and transport them to the storage area

  • Ensure the ballrooms are presentable

  • Event equipment is maintained, organized, and put in its place

  • Maintaining the reputation of the property through its appearance and cleanliness to guests

  • Prepare each order and coordinate staffing to ensure layout is executed according to plans

Requirements

  • Must be able to show a good track record of previous employment stability and workplace reliability

  • Physically able to perform physical tasks during an extended period of time such as lifting at least 50 pounds

  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time

  • Capable of manipulating a dolly and using basic tools

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Is able to work autonomously with event setup/breakdown instructions and use checklists

  • Is able to prioritize tasks based on importance while having flexibility to shift when needed

  • Has a commitment to making an event the best it can be

  • Has the ability to see details that the “normal” eye would miss

  • Willingness to work weekends, days, and/or nights
