Position Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales & Marketing for our ANJOU hotel. This role offers candidates a dynamic career with personal growth, a strong tradition of mutual trust and integrity, and an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities
As a Director of Sales & Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in achieving and exceeding revenue goals by soliciting, developing, and finalizing agreements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with Global Sales on Request for Proposals (RFP), manage group and national accounts, and expand the account base.
  • Revenue Growth: Negotiate group business that meets or exceeds revenue targets.
  • Business Development: Conduct weekly prospecting calls and consistently pursue new business opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships with clients and attend community events to represent the company.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Marketing: Create and implement marketing materials and campaigns to increase awareness within target markets.
  • Digital Strategy: Develop and optimize digital strategies, including social media, SEO, and online presence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Coordinator to ensure efficient completion of administrative tasks and alignment with departmental goals.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 3 years of experience as a Director of Sales or in a similar role. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of sales success and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Minimum qualifications include:

  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proactive and results-driven sales approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google applications.
  • Familiarity with Delphi.fdc and PMS systems is an asset.
  • Local market experience is a plus.
