We are looking for a bilingual professional (French and English, spoken and written) who enjoys meeting clients, building strong relationships, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will play a key role in the active solicitation of new accounts as well as in managing incoming requests for group bookings and corporate agreements.
Your responsibilities
- Identify and target new business opportunities through active monitoring of the market and competitors.
- Implement direct solicitation strategies within designated market segments.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
- Evaluate incoming requests and maximize every opportunity to achieve (and exceed) set objectives.
- Negotiate and prepare contracts in compliance with commercial and pricing policies.
- Collaborate closely with other hotel departments to ensure a memorable client experience.
- Efficiently manage room blocks and ensure smooth communication with the relevant teams.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows and within professional associations, acting as a true ambassador of our brand.
Requirements
Your Profile
- You have a proactive attitude and a strong talent for communication and persuasion.
- You are committed to delivering superior customer service.
- You remain calm under pressure and work independently.
- You are structured, organized, and excel at managing priorities.
- You are fully bilingual (French and English, spoken and written).
- You are proficient with computer tools (MS Office; knowledge of Opera is an asset).
- You have experience in the hospitality industry and a solid understanding of the sales cycle.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
