The Les Jardins Champfleury residence, located in the Maizeret district of Limoilou, offers a friendly working environment, a warm atmosphere and an excellent quality of life! We are currently looking for two people to fill full-time cook positions to assist our chef in preparing meals for residents. High volume experience is an asset. The residence is very well served by public transport, otherwise parking is free. Stable schedule and shifts that always end early.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule:
- a Monday to Friday day position with one weekend every 2
- a day shift from Wednesday to Sunday
Salary: from $18.73 (to be discussed depending on experience)
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble plates of food
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
- Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Peel and cut vegetables for meals
- Perform meal preparation while supervising and mobilizing staff in the kitchen
- Plan and cook meals in accordance with the appropriate methods and standards
- When appropriate, collaborate with the chef in the creation of the menus by proposing ideas

Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Training certification (MAPAQ)
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
