Chez Delmo, fish and seafood restaurant established in Old Montreal in 1932, is looking to hire a garde-manger.
The garde manger takes charge of the cold station and takes care of all other secondary stations and other preparations.
The garde manger prepares vinaigrettes and sauces and small cooking preparations during service. The cadre manger takes care of fridge stocks of all cold station foods.
The garde manger prepares cold or hot cooking with proper seasoning and proper presentation and precision: hors d'oeuvres, salads, sauces, fish, meats etc.
The garde manger also helps during preparation, reception of stocks and end of service cleaning, all kitchen and stations, and fridge maintenance.
Variable schedules (weekend included). We are looking for nights and weekends.
Promotion possibilities (cook)
- Certificate in hygiene et salubrity (HACCCP)
- Minimum one year successful experience in a restaurant
- Capacity to reproduce a recipe with precision
- Enthusiasm, motivation, adaptability
