The Clair Matin residence, by Cogir Immobilier, is looking for a colleague to join its dedicated team as a Cook. Every day, our team of enthusiasts makes a difference to residents. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are currently looking for a creative and passionate Chef, wishing to offer an exceptional culinary experience to residents. Four-day work week. Shift from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Every other weekend. Unionized position.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assemble plates of food
  • Clean kitchen equipment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
  • Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Perform inventory duties, receive and store food for the kitchen
  • Perform other related duties
  • Plan and cook meals in accordance with the appropriate methods and standards
  • Prepare the lunches and suppers for the Health Care department
  • When appropriate, collaborate with the chef in the creation of the menus by proposing ideas

Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years experience
  • A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
