Our rental complex, located in Quebec, is currently looking for a Property Manager for its rental building with more than 500 doors. Under the supervision of the Regional-Multi-residential Director, the building manager must plan, organize, direct and control the activities of the Multi-residential complex. The building manager humanizes the service both with tenants and with employees under his supervision. #LI-SL1

  • Coordinate the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Effectively take and respond to complaints from the residents
  • Ensure information is disseminated throughout the complex
  • Establish quality standards that are in keeping with established norms
  • In collaboration with the manager, plan your service budget and manage it in the most optimal way possible
  • Inspect buildings and coordinate interviews according to established standards
  • Manage rent collection and deposits according to established standards
  • Manage the different teams that offer services to the building
  • Optimize human resources in support of operational and financial efficiency objectives
  • Perform staff assessment
  • Plan the arrivals and departures of residents
  • Plan, organize and manage maintenance work including that of subcontractors
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Take appropriate action during any emergency situation that may arise in the establishment
  • Work to ensure that the teams skills and knowledge is updated and maintained
  • Work with regional teams to carry out capital work and register documents with the Régie du logement

Permanent: Full Time
Day time
  • 5 years of management experience
  • A working knowledge of building maintenance (Hvac, electrical, plumbing etc.)
  • A working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook software
  • Good sense of interpersonal communication
  • A working knowledge of real estate management
  • A working knowledge of the software system Hopem (an asset)
  • Excellent knowledge of Team software
  • First year univercity in administration program or equivelent work experience
  • Experience in personnel management
  • Minimum experience in a position of sales or rental in real estate
