We are seeking a passionate Banquet Sales Manager for our establishment. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the role is responsible for developing and increasing banquet event sales. This includes identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and promoting our hotel and restaurant banquet services to attract new clients.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Responsible for developing and increasing sales related to banquet events. This includes seeking new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and promoting the hotel’s banquet services to attract new clients.
- Respond enthusiastically and professionally to all incoming requests for banquet events and groups of up to 20 rooms per night, seamlessly managing multiple properties.
- Develop a holistic vision of events, with a clear and precise understanding of client needs and expectations.
- Use your negotiation skills to craft complex proposals encompassing rooms, meeting spaces, and catering offers.
- Coordinate exciting site inspections.
- Stay in contact with loyal clients.
- Re-solicit former clients to generate revenue.
- Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers to encourage referrals.
- Represent Corner Collection with the highest level of integrity and professionalism at networking events.
- Achieve sales and revenue targets for the designated market.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with the director of sales to continuously improve service offerings and stay competitive.

Requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- You are passionate about the luxury hospitality industry.
- You have at least 3 years of significant experience in a similar role and/or a degree in hotel management.
- You have the authorization to work in Canada.
- Generally working hours are Monday to Friday with flexibility for meetings based on client availability.
- You possess a keen sales sense, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a performance-oriented mindset.
- You are bilingual in French and English for effective communication with an international clientele.
- You consistently maintain exemplary service standards.
