Who we are :
Job responsabilities :
- Supervise and coordinate the responsibilities of servers, clearing clerks, bartenders, hostesses and sommeliers in banquet mode;
- Ensure compliance with service standards and banquet procedures;
- Manage service and set-up;
- Participate in service;
- Greet and ensure customer satisfaction and handle complaints during the event, if any;
- Participate in the development and implementation of a staff training program to ensure and improve service quality and achieve a level of customer service that exceeds expectations;
- Assist in the organization of special events;
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and hygiene standards, and supervise room cleanliness and maintenance;
- Assist the Banquet Manager in all other related tasks.
Requirements
Requirements :
- Restaurant diploma an asset;
- Three years' experience in a similar position in the hotel industry or in a luxury restaurant;
- Perfectly bilingual (English and French);
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Guest Center and Quest software an asset;
- Willingness to work in a unionized environment;
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Be dynamic, able to manage a team and have a good sense of leadership;
- Variable schedules (day, evening and weekend). Must be available to work this type of schedule.
- Be able to work standing up for long periods and lift weights of less than 22kg.
