Description
We are looking for a banquet attendant to join our dynamic team.
Our banquet attendant will work closely with the food and beverage team and the conference/banquet sales team to assist in setting up, dismantling, and maintaining meeting and banquet rooms. At the Humaniti Hotel Montreal, we are seeking individuals who have a deep understanding of human interactions and will deliver an experience in line with our wellness concept to our customers.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Set up and dismantle meeting rooms according to provided plans.
· Perform basic room setup.
· Clean meeting rooms and banquet equipment.
· Ensure the installation of certain equipment.
· Handle the transport of boxes and materials.
· Keep storage spaces well organized.
· Perform all necessary support tasks for the department.
· Serve as a role model for high-quality customer service and contribute to maintaining this standard.
· Be self-reliant and comfortable with problem-solving.
Requirements
· Excellent organizational skills, prioritization, and outstanding customer service.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage stress.
· Proactivity, initiative, and autonomy.
· (1) year of experience in a similar position.
· Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting heavy objects.
· Bilingual (French and English).
· Availability during the day, evening, and weekends.
