The pastry chef is the professional specialized in the realization of pastry products. He is in charge of preparing, baking and decorating different types of desserts, following specific recipes.

- Prepare baked, leavened and puff pastry desserts such as cakes, small pastries and croissants
- Prepare spoonable desserts such as creams, custards, ice creams and ice creams
- Prepare chocolates and other chocolate products and confectionery
- Prepare cookies and savoury pastries
- Decorate cakes and desserts
- Manage the activity of the pastry lab independently and efficiently
- Set up display areas for the sale of desserts
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and work tools


- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position;
- Diploma from a recognized school;
- Certificate of Hygiene and salubrity MAPAQ (manipulator)
- Experience in the preparation of vegan and vegetarian desserts an asset
