Reporting to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager, the Housekeeping Manager oversees the housekeeping and laundry staff, coordinates the department's operations, and ensures customer service quality

Job Description:

  • Verify the condition of guest rooms, public areas, and ensures that cleaning standards are met.
  • Ensures efficient management of the department's resources and places orders.
  • Participates in creating schedules and training new employees.
  • Supports department employees in their learning and development.
  • Performs any other related tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • DEC in Hotel Management or one year of experience in a housekeeping supervisory position
  • Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of hotel software (an asset)
  • Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, and knowledge of a third language (an asset)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
  • Flexible schedule – availability during days, evenings, and weekends
