Reporting to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager, the Housekeeping Manager oversees the housekeeping and laundry staff, coordinates the department's operations, and ensures customer service quality
Job Description:
- Verify the condition of guest rooms, public areas, and ensures that cleaning standards are met.
- Ensures efficient management of the department's resources and places orders.
- Participates in creating schedules and training new employees.
- Supports department employees in their learning and development.
- Performs any other related tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- DEC in Hotel Management or one year of experience in a housekeeping supervisory position
- Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of hotel software (an asset)
- Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, and knowledge of a third language (an asset)
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
- Flexible schedule – availability during days, evenings, and weekends
