Assistant Housekeeping Manager

The responsibilities and tasks of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager position include, but are not limited to :

  • Assisting the Executive Housekeeping Director in running the day to day operations of the department; this includes day to day operations, supervision of all staff, purchasing, labour cost, inventory, enforcing of brand standards, maintenance of high level of cleanliness, upkeep and improvement of scores (cleanliness and Guest Service)
  • Opening and Closing of the Department
  • Inspecting Rooms and Ensuring Cleanliness levels are maintained to the highest standards
  • Supervising and ensuring optimal productivity of Laundry facilities
  • Inspecting Public areas and ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness all the while supervising and coaching housemen
  • Reporting Deficiencies and Touch ups needed in the rooms immediately
  • Aiding Executive Housekeeping Director in scheduling, HR related tasks associated with the department, disciplining and coaching
  • Participating in the Manager on Duty rotation (may require evening and weekend work)

Candidates must be bilingual (english and french)

Candidates must have a minimun of 3 years experience in a similar position.

Previous hospitality industry experience is mandatory

Candidates must be available to work full time weekdays and weekends; as well as holidays.
