Job Nature
You will be the person who helps manage and coordinate all activities within the housekeeping department to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
As the Assistant Director of Cleanliness and Style, you will perform various frontline tasks in a lodging establishment.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Cleanliness and Style, you will assist the department director with different responsibilities, including but not limited to:
MANAGEMENT / SUPERVISION
- Manage the human resources of your department (training, work allocation, conflict resolution, etc.).
- Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the staff.
- Plan work schedules.
- Assign rooms and tasks to attendants and team members.
- Coordinate daily cleaning activities.
- Implement and enforce service policies and procedures and, more broadly, the company’s standards.
- Any other related tasks.
MATERIAL RESOURCE CONTROL
- Oversee the department's material resources (inventory management, housekeeping equipment and supplies, procurement, etc.).
SERVICE
- Work in coordination with other departments in the establishment.
- Ensure the general cleanliness of the property by conducting inspection rounds.
- Perform housekeeping tasks as needed.
Schedules
Numerous options are available: day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Currently, we’re offering a permanent, full-time position
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: to be determined based on experience.
- Group insurance, with 55% covered by the company.
- Transportation allowance of $100 (upon presentation of receipt).
- Cell phone allowance of $50 (upon presentation of receipt).
- 3 weeks of vacation per year, increasing to 4 weeks after 5 years.

- 3 to 5 years in a similar position

- Communication skills, both within and outside the housekeeping department, and the ability to address issues
- Demonstrate rigor and openness
- Good stress management
- Professional behavior (interpersonal skills, versatility, initiative, objectivity)
- Knowledge of Opera and HotSOS (hotel management software) is considered an asset.
