POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are currently looking for an accounting technician to join our great team in the Construction division at our Brossard offices. Reporting to the controller, the accounting technician will be called upon to work in a dynamic team in order to support construction projects. The incumbent must be an organized person and have proven ability to manage a high volume of information and requests from multiple actors with always the same quality of work, while respecting tight deadlines, all an autonomous way. He will have to work on several files simultaneously.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate the receipt of all invoices
  • Demonstrate rigor by entering data payable and receivable in accounting software
  • Ensure that customer and supplier files are kept in order and up to date
  • Obtain necessary approvals and make payments to accounts payable
  • Participate in various special projects!
  • Perform various collections
  • Prepare inter-company invoicing and management fees
  • Prepare supplier receipts when releasing payments
  • Reconcile credit cards

Requirements EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • DEP or DEC in accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years of similar and / or relevant experience
  • French / English bilingualism (spoken and written)
  • Have worked in the construction industry (Legal Mortgages, CNESST validity
